A Better (GLL) sports centre run with South Oxfordshire District Council beside Wheatley Park School, just outside Oxford’s eastern edge. It has three squash courts with a viewing area, and hosts a weekly squash drop-in set up with the Oxfordshire Squash and Racketball Association.

Before you visit
Book online or in the Better UK app, up to 6 days ahead; the centre says courts are in demand. For the Monday drop-in, bring clean non-marking trainers. The centre is in Holton, about 7 km east of central Oxford.

Prices & membership
Non-members pay £17.00 per 40-minute court at peak times and £8.75 off peak; Better pay-as-you-go members pay £12.00 and £6.20. Peak is Monday–Friday 07:00–09:00 and 16:00–22:00 and weekends 09:00–13:00. Racket hire is available.
